I made this magical step right outside the magical world of Disney. It's been a fun road trip and I couldn't be happier with my Charger right now!

145k today in my Magnum. You should be totally fine. Seen other LX cars with 320k.

Very cool. And just so we're clear, I'm jealous that you have a Magnum.

Got 114k on my 2010. Its my first non "zero fucks given car", got it this past April and I love it.

Well, you could get one too.
What year is your Charger? I'm guessing it has a 5.7L in it, no?

Mine is an 06 and yeah it's got the 5.7L. The only reason I didn't get a magnum was bc the only ones that I could find had the 2.7, had been converted into donks, or had multiple levels of destruction that had been brought down on them.
Then my baby came through our dealership and I knew I had to get it.

I'd have to say that I think this is my first one of that caliber as well. My last 3 cars were all acquired as CL trades after my first car blew the transmission when I had no money. All in all, definitely the nicest one I've had :)

When I was looking for Magnums, that's most of what I was finding. I couldn't do the Donk thing, it was a real disaster. Then, I decided to search around on craigslist one more time, and I found the one I got. The guy was on vacation, but he was open to waiting, as he didn't want to sell it to a dealer, but wasn't that interested in it and didn't know a whole lot about it (he couldn't pop the hood, and he didn't know it had 3 different brands of tires on it).
I went and saw it on a Tuesday after classes, it was a mixed bag, but the only mods were shitty HIDs and interior lights. The rest of it was completely stock. It was basically everything I was looking for. The lights I could take out easily, and the interior lights actually looked good, so they're still in.
The usual, I get it, I start looking at it, the bumper had a big crack in it, it had a few deep scratches around it, the exhaust pipes have some crap on them, but nothing some money couldn't fix. The car is finally back road ready, I'm going to be having the trans flushed one more time and refilled to make sure nothing is floating around, and she's ready to go.
The early 5.7s have weak valve springs, and the hydraulic lifters are "iffy," but they'll keep going for quite some time. I may not even pull the valve covers off like I originally planned. I don't want to anger this motor, it got a catch can just to be safe, but a cold air so I could get a little noise out of it. I'm planning an exhaust, but nothing major beyond that. I'm more likely to get a new motor than push this one too hard.
They're really reliable, I just know the insurance isn't very forgiving (most stolen vehicle in 2013 as I was told by my insurance company).
Have fun with it, and easily go another 100k.
